I am pleased to introduce Mr. Narendra Rao S/o Sh. Krishan Chand R/o Kosli, Rewari, Haryana of “Yadav community” who is an outstanding and promising young mountaineer from Haryana who had completed the basic and advance course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi in A Grade and participated in trekking of Bhagirathi –II (6512 meter), DKD –II (5682 meter), Kalindi pass, Kedar pass, Table top pass, Gomukh pass, Garhwal, Kumaon and Jammu Kashmir.
He was selected by Seven Summit Treks Pvt Ltd (Authorized agency appointed for Trekking to Mount Everest), Dhumbarahi, Kapan, Kathmandu, Nepal for going to climb Mt. Everest south face (88.48m) in April 2014 in Nepal. If he summits on the top he would have been the youngest climber from Haryana State of India. But unfortunately he was bound to return due to major earthquake and avalanche in Nepal.
Again he will be trying for trekking and once again he has to deposit Rs. 25 Lacs to the organizers out of which he has generated Rs. 12 Lacs from his own resources, family members and Relatives.
I believe that we shall encourage such activities and such persons of our community and inspire the young generations towards this enthusiastic cause.
